price-perfomance ratio. The PCI card stays in the tradition of the well-known Marc 8 MIDI (Siena).
Features: The TRACE 8 provides eight analog inputs and eight analog outputs with up to 192 kHz.
The compact PCI card includes also three MIDI-Outputs and one MIDI input with 16 channels each.
The newly developed Highspeed hardware architecture
guarantees data transfers with ultra low latencies and practically without CPU load, resulting in a
superlative audio performance with samplerates upt to 192 kHz.
The analog I/Os provide balanced 6,3 TRS jack connectors! The elaborate analog converter technology ensures
superb audio values
with an outstanding signal-to-noise ratio of up to 113 dB(A) and professional levels of up to 15 dBu, resulting in the
same audio quality, which already enthused testers of the TRACE PRO.
Besides the hardware integrated DSP mixer with Total Recall the Trace 8 offers the card-spanning
TDM-Sync-Bus connecting several MARIAN cards to one synchronous main system and allowing
the free routing of audio channels within all TRACE cards in this system.
Start a modular system with a single TRACE 8 and add later other TRACE cards with different types of I/Os
- e.g. up to 24 analog I/Os and four AES/EBU I/Os to integrate external digital effect units to your DAW.

The next generation PCI audio system provides one stereo analog input/output and one stereo digital input/output
with up to 192 kHz as well as one WordClock/SuperClock input.
The focus of the new hardware design was on providing superlative audio performance and high resolution audio with sample rates up to 192 kHz.
The analog inputs and outputs provide electronically balanced XLR connectors and the elaborate analog converter technology ensures superb audio
values with maximum dynamic - signal to noise ratio up to 113 dB(A) with a level of up to 18 dBu.

UCON CX - Live on tour with reggae superstar Gentleman and the FAR EAST BAND.
Gentleman concerts are outstanding events. The exceptional artist not only filled big halls in his last years tour across Germany.
The national tour was completed by a successful European tour and concerts around the globe, e. g. in the USA.
Gentleman is accompanied by the FAR EAST BAND, formed by musicians from Leipzig, Cologne and Berlin (Far East Band).
The band members also contributed some Riddims to Gentlemans bestselling album "Confidence".
Andreas Wendland - the Far East Bands guitar player - brought the UCON CX into action. The compact multi talent was continuously working in the background of the tour.

The PCI card is a budget version of the TRACE D4 SRC and offers 4 AES/EBU stereo inputs
and 4 AES/EBU stereo outputs
(eight channels both) with 24 Bit and samplerates up to 212 kHz.

In addition to providing high quality inputs and outputs, the TRACE D4 includes a number of features unique to MARIAN, especially suited for use in the professional field, including music studios,
radio and television broadcast, theatres, stage and PA.

one millisecond practically without CPU load - even when using all channels at the full
bandwidth of up to 192 kHz!
Besides the hardware integrated DSP Mixer with Totall Recall the new TRACE family offers
a card-spanning TDM SyncBus, which enables
the free routing of audio channels. This makes single channels or complete sub-mixes available to all TRACE cards
within the main system.
A TRACE main system with inputs and outputs of any type - analog or digital - can thereby be used as router,
patchbay, converter or splitter.
Typical usage: Connecting an external reverb and/or effect units to one card making it available to all other cards.

Marian Audio systems in the production of Route 66 - the worlds first "Open source movie"
Route 66: Legendary highway from coast to coast in the USA. 6500 miles, endless horizon and the overwhelming feeling of motorized freedom.
The 104 minutes movie - made by the crew of VEB Film Leipzig - shows the journey of three young Germans from Saxony with camera and an infirm, but legendary Cadillac
Modell 74 through america. 6500 miles from San Diego, Washington and New York to Los Angeles. The roadmovie convinces the viewer with optical and acustical qualities. The sound and the
special composed soundtrack were produced in 5.1 surround.
The special feature: The movie is declared as Open Source.
The final movie and the complete source material - pictures, effects, sounds, music - are free and could be shared freely. "Route 66" is also available on DVD,
there is the book to the movie and the soundtrack is licence free - all the cost price.
The crew used several Marian Marc 8 audio systems in the production of the soundtrack and in the complete audio post production. Sound specialist and movie composer
Thomas P. Bechhold says: "the system delivers an outstanding sound quality and dynamic, without noise level and is especially not expensive."

The UCON CX audio system is now being shipped!
The latest member of the Marian product family is a 16-channel, high compact, all round audio and MIDI interface for the USB 2.0 high speed bus.
The UCON CX audio system is severally cascade able, hot-plug capable and not only perfect as the main studio unit but especially for mobile use, e.g.
for professional recording sessions with a notebook. The UCON CX audio system can also be used as an high quality stand alone ADAT converter.
The integrated hardware mixer with total recall allows complete real-time mixing and free routing of all in- and outputs to several stereo sums. An additional output for the mixer sum as
well as an adjustable headphone output on the front complete the picture.
