Features
The Beast
Analog-Style Mixing
The Beast DSP mixer is integrated into the hardware of every Seraph and Clara sound system. This provides latency-free routing, EQ processing, pre/post aux summing and many other functions for all input signals and also the playback signals from the DAW, just like in an analog mixer.
Top quality sound and processing predestine the Seraph AD2 for mastering and broadcasting.

This sound system was specifically designed for 24/7 operation in particularly demanding applications. With a convenient mix of balanced analog and digital interfaces, word clock input, samplerate converters as well as configurable analog levels, the Seraph AD2 also proves to be a versatile solution for a professional use.
Analog and digital excellence
With 123 dB of dynamic range and a THD+N of less than 0.0004 % at -1 dBfs, the analog connections of the Seraph AD2 play among the top league of sound. Especially on the playback side, the 32 bit D/A converters within the finely tuned analog circuitry offer unsurpassed sonic pleasure. A rich level of +24 dBu gives enough headroom at the inputs and sufficient signal to any connected device at the outputs.
Switchable Samplerate Converter (SRC)
The SRCs, which can be switched on via software, allow any digital input signal to be fed into the sound system regardless of samplerate and clock settings. Thus, even without separate synchronization lines, any digital devices may be connected effortlessly.
Sound system with a +
The “+” version includes an extension that adds a word clock input and output and 2 MIDI inputs and outputs to the sound system. This expansion card is connected to the sound card via a ribbon cable and can therefore be freely positioned in one of the slots of the computer housing.
Expansion options
If several Clara D are installed in one computer, they are synchronized via the TDM SyncBus and appear as a combined sound system to an ASIO application. In the Beast Mixer, up to 32 audio signals can be exchanged with other Clara sound systems and thus also be integrated for the use with ASIO.
Fast and Reliable Multi-Client Treiber Suite
The continuously enhanced driver includes multi-client support for ASIO 2.2 as well as multi-channel WDM audio / WASAPI with the lowest latencies in all software environments. This ensures that multiple audio applications can access the sound system simultaneously via the same or different driver interfaces.

Powerful and Future-Proof
Every MARIAN sound system is a quality product developed 100% in Germany and manufactured according to DIN EN ISO 9001. This is guaranteed by its warranty period of 5 years.
