The unique MARIAN Family Driver merges multiple Clara interfaces and selected SERAPH systems into a single high-performance audio platform. Your DAW sees all inputs and outputs through one unified Family ASIO driver, making the entire system behave like a single interface.

Sample-accurate clock synchronization keeps every interface perfectly aligned. Audio streams start and stop in perfect sync, ensuring sample-accurate operation across the entire system.

Even with multiple interfaces installed, latency remains identical to that of a single Clara card. Expand your I/O almost without limit—the only practical constraint is the number of available PCIe slots in your computer.

TDM SyncBus – The Hardware Foundation

The technology behind this flexibility is the MARIAN TDM SyncBus. Since 2008, it has connected multiple MARIAN audio interfaces directly at the hardware level, providing both clock synchronization and audio transport independently of the operating system, drivers, or application software.

This hardware-based architecture delivers exceptionally stable synchronization, ultra-low jitter, and latency-free routing between interfaces. It also allows the integrated DSP mixers of multiple Clara systems to function as one shared mixer.

Connecting the interfaces requires nothing more than an inexpensive ribbon cable. The result is a perfectly synchronized multi-card system that your DAW recognizes and operates as a single audio interface.
